Racing Club Horses - Handicap Marks

After his impressive victory last week, NOODLE MISSION's rating has been increased by 3lb to a new level of 89. We are quite satisfied with this adjustment, having anticipated 5 and wished for 4!

All the horses currently in the string have been included below, along with their current handicap marks and expected schedule for their next race. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

ACED IT is now rated 84 on the flat; his highest rating for us was 87, when he joined us, he was rated just 70. Ace has won races with ratings of 70, 76, and 85. After a enforced break, he is back in training and making good progress towards a comeback around October/ November.

BORODALE has a rating of 101 for both fences and hurdles. He has raced for us only once, from a rating of 103, which was reduced by 2lb after the race. He is now back in training with Olly after his break and will return to racing in approximately 6 weeks when the ground conditions are suitable.

HERE COMES MCCOY Is rated 125 for fences and 118 for hurdles. When he joined us, his rating was 116 for both disciplines, but his success over fences has led to an increase of 9lb in the fence rating and a 2lb increase in the hurdle rating. He has previously won with a rating of 123 over hurdles. McCoy's racing schedule is similar to Borodale's, and after a summer break, he is expected to return in approximately 6 weeks.

LOUBIERE is rated at a modest 46, and might be downgraded further following her performance last night, despite showing improvement compared to her recent form. Her highest rating was 55, and she achieved a commendable 2nd place finish with a rating of 53. Hopefully, she will return to Newcastle next week and continue to progress based on her last night's performance.

MAXIMUM EFFORT has a hurdle rating of 105 and has had limited racing experience. Initially assigned a rating of 107, he dropped 2lbs after his last race before taking a break. Max is now back in training, gradually improving his fitness in preparation for when the ground conditions become more favorable for him.

MILITRY DECORATION is currently rated 63 after a 2lb drop following his performance at Wolves. He started for us with a rating of 56 and reached a peak of 74, winning races off marks of 55, 65, 70, and 67. He is set to be entered in a race at Lingfield next week.

NOODLE MISSION is now rated 89 after a 3lb rise following his victory last week. Noodle initially joined us with a rating of 74 (72 on turf) and has since won races off marks of 74, 72 (turf), 78, and 86. His all-weather and turf ratings have now been consolidated into a single mark. Ed is currently exploring various options for Noodle, but it won't be long before he returns to a racecourse.

SIEMPRE ARTURO is currently rated 86, a significant improvement from his initial mark of 70. He has secured victories at ratings of 70, 73, 77, and 80. While he is entered for The Cambridgeshire, his rating might not be sufficient to get a run. Dan is considering a strategic plan for his upcoming races and beyond into 2025.

THREE PLATOON currently has ratings of 55 on flat and 93 over hurdles; he joined our team with marks of 69 on flat and 99 over hurdles, which shows his marks have dropped noticeably. This positions him as a horse with undeniably favorable handicap mark if he can perform at close to his peak. Having previously won on the flat with a rating of 73 and finishing a close 2nd off 77, he is now entered for Wolves this weekend.

Two-year-olds do not have handicap ratings until they have participated in races and achieved either a win in a novice race or completed three measurable runs to receive a handicap rating.
