Unraced 2yr old colt - President Wilson

Trained in Lambourn, by Ed Smyth-Osbourne.

We are excited to have this lovely looking colt by top sire, Bobbys Kitten.

He is out of Topflightcoolracer, who was a decent filly when racing; rated 80 and winning twice and the mare has produced 3 winners from 5 runners including full brother to our colt, Running Cool.

Running Cool has won twice, off 80 and 81, with a peak rating of 89.

With Bobbys Kitten and the mare both big pace influences, President Wilson is bred to be quick and is showing plenty of speed at home and as his debut run approaches, he is impressing trainer Ed Smyth-Osbourne.​

 

Ed fully expects to see the colt on the racecourse before the end of September, and is very pleased with how he shaping at home. The priority will be to try and win a maiden/ novice with him, but if need be, after 3 qualifying runs we will be looking at nursery handicaps and progressing the horse through the ranks. 

​

A tough and resilient colt, and is expected to take a decent amount of racing, but he will not be over raced.​
